My objective for this jam.

This is my second Game Jam completed entry.  This one in particular is in a playable state.  Not exactly the most bug free of games, but definately more playable than my previous entry (fishmup).

What went well? - Development went fairly smoothly.  Ended up making a game in a reasonable amount of time.  Unfortunately I couldn't QA the game beyond checking if the correct paths were playable and a few "in advance of derps" options which included the introduction of the White Chalk.  I had a much faster system of implement -> test so that made development SIGNIFICANTLY smoother.  Also, prototyping helped a LOT with design.  I'm just sad I couldn't get everything implemented I wanted to.  I had a goal for at minimum two, at max 8 endings.

What went wrong? - Timing.  Lots of timing problems that arose from the way I did raycasting.  I think it's slower than what it really should be.  I might open up the project so that I can get some advice on how things are done.  Day two ended early because at 7 PM, an hour before the time I said I would stop, I had to stop and wasn't able to resume until Sunday morning (four hours before due)

What could I improve on? - Figure out a better way to do raycasting.  Try to ensure that RL issues don't come up mid-jam if avoidable.  The pacing for my own ability wasn't bad, but could be tweaked for further optimization.

Overall? Probably my best jam yet and I'm looking forward to doing the next one.
